Walk With Me – to be inspired by Mother Nature

Nagambie Lakes – Victoria

Nagambie Lakes is well known as one of the largest regatta centres in Australia which makes it a very busy place to visit at certain times of the year. We have arrived in autumn when the lakes become a quiet, restful, and peaceful place to stay. The caravan park is situated between the lake and the Goulburn River, so I am loving all the walks alongside both waterways.

Sunrise is a very special delight. As the golden light slowly appears over the treetops and stretches across the tranquil waters, the reflected colours are simply glorious. Our morning 8km walk takes us along a boardwalk that sits above the water and flanks the rowing course. The light dancing across the water brings forever changing hues and the reflections from the sky just add to the beauty.

The bird life is amazing. From the tiniest blue wrens playing in the bushes, to the black swans that glide across the lake, we are constantly being entertained with their antics. This is certainly a paradise for anything with feathers and wings.

Whispers from Mother Nature

It is in the stillness and silence that we connect with the Great Spirit.

Be the Light to others – see the Light in all people and things.

Each step in a spiritual journey is simply a step of remembering.

Feed on the Truth found deep in the still calm waters of Self.
