Be the Rainbow – Find Love, Find Joy!
Finding joy in the ‘busyness’ of life these days can be quite a challenge. Life can feel overwhelming, and finding joy amidst the chaos isn’t always easy. But just like a rainbow appears after the storm, love and joy are always within reach.
The name Coffin Bay does certainly not conjure up images of joy! This little town, which was named after Mr Coffin, was a very pretty town nestled into a quiet bay in Sth Australia that is well known for its delicious oysters. As we walked along the track that wound around the bay, the evening sky suddenly turned from sunshine to darkness with some very ominous looking clouds hovering above. We were very soon running for cover from a downpour of rain. And then it appeared … the most beautiful rainbow!
Love creates light, and light creates rainbows!
Question: Jesus, can you teach me about rainbows?
Jesus: Look for joy enjoy will find you! The rainbow is such a joyous sight, but can only be seen as the light from the sun shines into the darkness of the rain clouds. As the colours arc their way across the sky, it is as if everything goes silent admiring its beauty and brilliance. But, as quickly as it is formed, it disappears and once again the sky returns to its former self – or so it seems!
The joy given may seem fleeting, but in fact the rainbow is always there. You must find it within your heart and allow it to shine for others to see.

Jesus: Love – love creates light and light creates rainbows. Be still and be the rainbow!
