A Moment of Reflection in Nature
I love finding places along my walks where I can simply sit and contemplate all that surrounds me in that moment. Often, the most wonderful images greet me, and I know they hold an important message to share. As I pondered this gorgeous little leaf with its two colours, a question came from within … and I now know from experience not to push aside what comes from within, but simply follow what I hear.
Growing in Love Through Awareness
Question: How do you do God’s will?
Jesus: God is love!
G. Does that mean that God’s will for us is simply love?
Jesus: Yes! Embracing love and doing God’s Will, you grow in awareness and understanding of the incredible love given to us by God. This love expands by being of service to others, showing kindness and compassion, and forgiving all. This is love in action.
G. Within that love we pray, meditate, read etc, does this also grow the love within ourselves and others?
Jesus: Yes! Each lifetime is yet another opportunity to grow the soul in love whether that be through what you would see as positive or negative experiences. God’s love remains within all experiences of growth.
G. Does that mean that God’s will, or should I say doing God’s will, is simply the constant expansion of love within oneself and within the physical world around us?
Jesus: Yes! To find God you simply find the love in everyone and everything. Doing God’s will is not necessarily ‘doing’ – ‘doing God’s will’ is simply ‘being love’! Being love brings you into Oneness and Unity with God and all things.
