Awaken to deeper spiritual truths
I simply love waterfalls! This one we discovered at a little place called Killarney in the Southern Downs region of Queensland. We couldn’t resist making the steep descent to the base of the Queen Mary falls to watch the water pouring over the cliffs and onto the rocks below … getting quite wet in the process I might add! This is part of the world heritage listed Main Range National Park. It was so worth it. After spending a great deal of time taking pics and videos, we slowly climbed our way back up to the top and sat in a park under the shade of trees to breathe in the beauty of the surroundings.
My comment to Bill was, “How beautiful is God in this space”! As soon as I uttered the words, I heard a response from Spirit which definitely made for interesting contemplation time!
It is easy to find God in beautiful places, but can you find God in places that are not so pleasing to your eyes? Humans judge what they see with their eyes as either good or bad. Their judgement also depends on their individual concept of what is pleasing or displeasing. They tend to forget, or not even realise, that within everything seen by the human eye is a Presence. The Presence of the Great Spirit.
In order to be able to see this unseen mystical Truth, you must learn to look, not with your physical eyes at whatever is before you, but to look through the eyes of your heart or your soul. Looking with your heart or your soul enables you to feel the goodness, truth and beauty of what lies before you. You are no longer judging what you see, but feeling that beautiful presence of God which is found in all things whether pleasing to the eye or not.
Beauty is not necessarily in the eye of the beholder, but in the unseen mystical Truth which is the presence of God in all things.
