Understanding Truth Through Divine Guidance
Stansbury is a lovely little seaside town in Yorke Peninsula Sth Australia. We were fortunate enough to spend a number of days here giving me the opportunity to stroll along the shoreline and sit on rocky outcrops in contemplation. Part of my current study had mentioned the spiritual triad of Goodness, Truth and Beauty … I wanted to know more! The pic with this blog shows 3 small shells which I kept in my pocket to remind myself of the message I had received.
Question: Explain to me please Jesus the significance of the triad ’Goodness, Truth and Beauty?
Jesus: let’s begin with beauty. You see beauty before you do you not? The ocean, the waves, the sky and the clouds, and even the bushes along the shore?
G. Yes, I do!
Jesus: and have you seen beauty everywhere in your travels?
G Yes, I have.
Jesus: have you met people of beauty?
G. Yes, I have… Beautiful souls who are finding beauty in the world as well. I think sometimes Jesus, it is easier to find the beauty in nature. It’s all around us and everywhere we go. It has been truly amazing.
Jesus. Yes, that’s true, but it is now time to find the beauty in everything, not just nature, but find the beauty in the nature of people. You will find it if you look with an open heart and open eyes and open ears. Let’s now go to truth. What do you think is truth?
G. Truth to me is that everything we can experience with all our senses, is all God. I am trying to capture this in my heart and in my belief system.
Jesus. The truth is that everything you see, every action that you take, every step, every thought, and every word – God is taking those steps, God is seeing the things that you see, God is in the feelings that you feel. God is everything, that is the truth! The problem arises when you begin to see or feel or act in certain ways and you believe it is all you performing the actions. The truth is that it is all God.
Underpinning that Truth is a loving God to guide the thoughts, steps and actions – in fact to guide every single thing that you do. If you can embrace this, then you are living Truth. You will have stopped taking control!
G. I’m not sure how to do that Jesus. I would really love to let go and let God guide us to places where we can stay, and guide us to people who can offer great advice on where to camp, etc.
Jesus. Just begin where you are. There is no rush. Little by little, open yourself to God’s guidance, open yourself to listening and being guided. It will become easier as you go. Now let’s move to goodness! God is good – nothing but good! So now, everything that you see, everything that you experience as a human being, know that it is good. You have free will, now let it go understanding that everything is good, and all is leading you to the beauty and truth of all things.
