Divine Presence in the Midst of Struggle – Geraldine Teggelove

A Pathway to Healing and Peace

Living in a world of duality makes for an interesting journey through life. The peaks and the troughs seem to occur on a very regular basis. The trick to successfully riding the ‘downs’ is having a strategy that can not only assist us to see the benefit of the valley, but to also help us climb our way out. These struggles have the ability to lift us out of duality and into to a higher state of consciousness if we are open to the learnings coming from within.

The image which accompanies this blog was taken as we walked along the edge of a gorge through which the Keiwa river flows. Another beautiful moment in time … and another question!

Question: What can I learn from this Jesus?

Jesus: Geraldine, the valleys can also be beautiful sacred experiences. In human terms, the valleys are often referred to as some place of horror, fear, lack or limitation. But valleys can also be places of spiritual awakening. Valleys can be the place where you can take time to surrender and find Spirit within the fear, within the anxiety, within the lack, or within the perceived limitation. In this valley, you can use God’s amazing Presence within the water to wash away anything that needs to be cleansed. Even in the valleys of human existence, you can lift your level of consciousness to one of love and peace simply by finding the presence of God in the midst of your experiences.

Finding the presence and power of God, finding the all-knowing wise Presence, you can surrender everything and let your life flow downstream through the rocks and crevices. Always remember that God is within you, and with God there are no rocks or obstacles, just life flowing with beauty, love, and peace … and the sacred Presence of the Father.

G. Is there a simple Truth we can use to help us during the ‘valley experiences’ Jesus?

Jesus. Remember – “Be still my child, for I am in the midst of you.”
